Following on from the successful webinar held on Monday 16th May, hosted by our funding partner, Foundation Scotland, The Essentia Foundation Trustees would like to thank all those who took the time to attend and participate in the session. Special thanks to Mercedes Green for organizing and hosting the session.
Some key notes from Mercedes:
- We had a fantastic turnout from 30 organisations. These community groups were located across Scotland (from Dumfries and Galloway to the Highlands).
- We had some familiar names and newcomers to The Essentia Foundation which was brilliant to see.
- We explored The Essentia Foundation, the work that they do and then walked through the multi-year programme and analysed some of the key eligibility criteria. We also put a spotlight on some best practice projects that have been funded in the past so that organisations could get a flavour of some success stories through the Foundation.
“A real highlight of the session was the question-and-answer session during which we received some important questions on the application process. Everyone in this session was engaged and open to asking queries regarding their projects.”
Mercedes Green, Funds Advisor, Foundation Scotland.
In light of the numbers attending, it is expected that this will be a popular funding round and The Essentia Foundation Trustees are really looking forward to see the new, three-year proposal applications.
Our Fund application opens on Thursday 19th May at 9 am.
