Festive Message

Thank you to everyone who took the time to make a grant application during the last Funding Round.  This proved to be quite a popular funding round and in total our partner Foundation Scotland received 32 applications.

This represents a decline from the last round of funding; however, this falls in line with a common trend for winter funding rounds. All applications are now undergoing basic eligibility checks before moving to the next stage of assessment.

The average grant request is £2,861.71 and the majority of funding requests appear to go towards larger project costs. The sum of requests is just over £85,000.00. Geographic distribution is promising and we have received applications from a range of local authorities including Highland, North Ayrshire and Perth and Kinross.

We look forward to notifying the successful applicants in early February.

The Trustees of Essentia Foundation Scotland wish everyone a Happy Christmas and all the very best for 2022.
